Many generations of this special recipe have produced an identifiable type that I call the Old Fashioned Farm Collie. These dogs are calm, biddable, people- oriented, and beautiful. Their coat is moderate, lustrous, easy to manage, and they have lovely big eyes that enhance the sweet expression.
They are extremely intelligent and devoted, will do farm work if trained to but do not require intense and constant exercise. Owners of these dogs have returned over and over as their first dogs have aged and passed on. Once a collie person becomes addicted there seems to be no other breed that will do!
